Caption Text ~ Part 2

Caption Text

Hello everyone, meet again with Yuli's blog. at this meeting I will explain about the caption text part 2. Let's listen to my explanation.

🌼🌼My Caption Text

🌹🌹Quote 1

🍒🍒Quote : "Carving Someone's smile is not necessarily as beautiful as the reality of his life. learn to know the dark side and reality of life".

🍍🍍Explanation :
The quotes that I have made myself above have their own meaning. The meaning is that we as humans sometimes always see the state of others who smile and think it is beautiful. Although not necessarily all the carvings of a person's smile indicate that he is fine. Maybe, he smiled just to cover his downturn from others. Therefore, we should learn to know someone much deeper, don't just look at the outside. When we get to know much deeper, then we will know the dark side and reality of someone's life in living it.

🌷🌷Quote 2

🌼🌼Quote : "Never feel that your lifeis very painful and painful. remember that above the sky there is still another sk, as well as life. There is still someone who feels much more pain".

🍅🍅Explanation :
The quote above has meaning. It's meaning is to remind us to always be grateful for the circumstances we get. We are forbidden not to complain with what we get, never feel ourselves as if we are the most fragile person in the world. Because of this above the sky there is still the sky. As is the fragility of life, as fragile as we are, don't think we are the most fragile, because there may still be someone who is far more fragile and has a colorless world. Therefore, be grateful for what we get.

🌳🌳Caption Text Summary

🌳🌳Explanation :

The caption text tells about Indonesia having experienced its dark period of being colonized by the Dutch colonials for 3.5 centuries. During this colonial period, many resistances were carried out by the Indonesian people from various regions. One of the Indonesian people's resistance to Dutch colonial rule was the Diponegoro War. The Diponegoro War or the Java war was a major war and lasted for five years from 1825-1830. This war was motivated by the hatred of the Javanese people towards the Dutch for the oppression that occurred in Java. As the name implies, this war was led by Prince Diponegoro who was the prince of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta.

Historically, since the arrival of Marshal Herman Willem Daendels in Batavia, the Dutch colonial influence has become increasingly evident on the island of Java, especially the Yogyakarta Palace. Where, Daendels changed the etiquette and ceremonial procedures which caused hatred from the Javanese Palace. He forced the Yogyakarta Palace to give him access to various natural and human resources by mobilizing his military power. After Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono IV died, Yogyakarta Resident Jonkheer Anthonie Hendrik Smissaert interfered a lot in the affairs of the palace power. Where, many unilateral policies were smoothed out by him. At that time, Prince Diponegoro who served as the Guardian King could not stand the presence of the Dutch in the Yogyakarta Palace and finally he chose to return to his residence in Tegalrejo.

In mid-May 1825, Smissaert decided to repair the small roads around Yogyakarta. However, the initial road construction from Yogyakarta to Magelang via Muntilan was diverted past the fence to the east of Tegalrejo and the Dutch installed roadworks along the ancestral grave of Prince Diponegoro. This Dutch act provoked the anger of Prince Diponegoro and the local people. Finally, Prince Diponegoro replaced the stakes with spears as a sign of a declaration of war against the Dutch.

Prince Diponegoro launched a war strategy against the Dutch for five years. He uses guerrilla tactics to carry out deception, lightning strikes, and invisible sieges. Meanwhile, to fight and defeat Diponegoro's troops, the Dutch led by General Hendrik De Kock implemented the Stelsel Fort strategy, namely by establishing forts in each controlled area and connected by roads so that communication and troop movements moved smoothly. In the end, the Stelsel Fort strategy succeeded in breaking up the opposing troops so that they were easier to defeat. Where, in 1829 Kyai Mojo as the spiritual leader of the rebellion was arrested, following later Prince Mangkubumi and his main commander Alibasah Sentot Prawirodirjo surrendered to the Dutch.

Finally, on March 28, 1830 General De Kock succeeded in pinning Diponegoro's troops in Magelang. There, Prince Diponegoro stated that he was willing to surrender on the condition that the rest of his laskar members were released. Therefore, Prince Diponegoro was arrested and exiled to Manado and then transferred to Makassar until his death in Fort Roterdam on January 8, 1855. The Diponegoro War was one of the biggest battles experienced by the Dutch during their occupation of the archipelago. As a result of this war, the Javanese population who died reached 200 thousand people while the death toll on the Dutch side was 8,000 Dutch soldiers and 7,000 indigenous soldiers. The end of the Diponegoro War confirmed the Dutch control over the island of Java.
